Anna Kendrick is an American singer and actress who has a her net worth at $20 million. Anna Kendrick was an already Tony-nominated child actress when she signed up to play the lead role in "Twilight." Between the first and second "Twilight" films she shot five more projects, including "Up in the Air". Her performance opposite George Clooney in that project was enough to earn the then-24-year old actress an Oscar nomination. She has been part of several critically and commercially successful films since when, including "Scott Pilgrim Vs. America". Her mother worked as an accountant while her father was an historian. She was raised with an older brother named Michael who became an actor. Anna Kendrick began auditioning for Broadway productions as teenagers in Deering High School in Portland. At age 12, she booked her first big theater role when she joined the group of High Society in 1998. Her performance earned her numerous awards and nominations, even though she was only a child. Later in 2003, she starred in the musical A Little Night Music. The following year, she made her film debut in the film Camp at the age of fifteen. Kendrick was nominated for this performance, as well as her appearance in Rocket Science 2007 at age 15.
